A Family/Maternity Session at Crissy Beach in San Francisco

This family/maternity session was taken on a breezy, chilly, foggy afternoon at Crissy Beach (go figure). I was a little nervous before seeing the family because even though I’m friends with the mother, I hadn’t seen her little girl since she was a tiny infant. Being that she’s a toddler, I didn’t know if she would be shy, clingy, or just not up for a windy day at the beach. Much to my surprise and delight, she couldn’t have been more thrilled to have a beach day with mom and dad. She dipped her toes in the water, played in the sand, and had a blast finding rocks and shells. In only 6 weeks, this family of three will be welcoming a new baby into their lives. I know they’re going to cherish these photos, as they’ll be a memento to the time when it was just the three of them.
