Fall Mini Session at the Palace of Fine Arts

This was such a fun mini session! The Carpenter family met me early on a brisk morning at the Palace of Fine Arts. Having only communicated via text and email prior to the shoot, I was a little nervous to meet them, but 30 seconds into the shoot and the nerves disappeared. Amy and Landon were such loving and playful parents to Loie and Dean and it made for beautiful, natural photos. Amy clued me in to the kids' favorite show, PJ Masks, so the night before the shoot I watched a few minutes on Youtube. As soon as I dropped a line from the show, the kids were completely in awe and we were able to play along with that for the rest of the shoot. See Dean below being "Gekko," and using his "super lizard grip!"  :)
