What is a Mother’s Day Mini Session?
A sweet, fun 15-minute photo session filled with love! They’re for capturing the special bond between mamas and their babes.
Where: The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco
When: Sunday, May 5th, 2024
Times: Sessions are 15 minutes long and are stacked back to back. Check the calendar for availability.
What’s the price and what’s included?
Session Fee: $100 (covers time & editing; no digital images included)
Image Options: Choose from 15 edited images. Collection packages start at $200. Keep scrolling to see the full collections.
HOW IT WORKS
—STEP ONE: Book Your Session
Your session is officially reserved once you pay the $100 session fee and sign the online contract.
What's Covered: The session fee covers my time, creativity, and photo editing.
Note: Digitals and products aren't included in the session fee and will be purchased separately in Collection packages.
—STEP TWO: Have a Great Session!
Pre-Session Guide: You'll receive a detailed guide before the session with tips on what to wear, how to prepare, and our meeting location.
Session Experience: This is a short and sweet 15-minute session that will be lighthearted and fun! Be prepared for snuggles, tickles, and just being present with your little one.
—STEP THREE: Purchase a Print + Digital Collection
Check your inbox!: On Mother’s Day morning you'll get an email saying your photos are ready. Woohoo!
View your images: Enjoy a special slideshow preview of the 15 edited images in your gallery. The slideshow is available to view for 24 hours.
Choose your collection: After viewing the slideshow, you’ll choose a Collection package to open your gallery. Each Collection includes:
a set number of image downloads, with print release
a print credit to use in the online store (because photos shouldn’t live on screens!)
—STEP FOUR: Order Prints and Products
Get printing!: Use your print credits within two weeks to order high-quality prints, frames, and more from a professional print shop connected to your gallery.

Sessions are timed back-to-back, so it’s important that you arrive early and ready for your session. If you are late, I will do my best to accomodate you, bu I can’t cut into the next client’s timeslot.
If you can’t make it at all (life happens!), the session fee is non-refundable buy may be applied towards a new session.

The session fee covers my time photographing the session and does not include digital images or products. Those are purchased separately via a Collection.

I’ll direct you into the best, most flattering light- wherever that may be! We’ll most likely be near the side ends of the park and not near the dome.

The stylI is up to you! ’ll send you a prep guide with tips, but for the most part, wear what makes you feel your best! Keep in mind that we’ll be surrounded by lots of greenery and peach tones, so you’ll want to wear colors that go well with that: navy, blues, tans, chocolate, mustard, purple, and yellows will work well.

The best thing to do is not make it feel like we’re taking pictures, and never ask your child to smile- it always backfires! With over 20 years of experience in working with young children, I have many tools under my belt. I’ll send you some tips to prepare, but I assure you that I can get even the shyest child to open up, and some of the best photos are taken when you allow your child to just be.
